Lake Siskiyou in Siskiyou County.
Lake Siskiyou is located four miles west of the city of Mt. Shasta in south county.
The Lake Siskiyou Campground and beach area, where these photos were taken, is on the west shore of the lake, looking back across the water to Mount Shasta rising 14,161 feet above the city and valley.
The view from the swimming area looking north shows the grassy meadow and beach area across the lake on north shore.
Rustic cabins are available at Lake Siskiyou Campground in wooded glade 50 yards from lakefront.
A small marina provides boating access.
